ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate for the AVP, Property/Multiline Claims position will be responsible for handling large first-party commercial property, business interruption, and property damage claims arising under first-party and third-party policies. The role also involves financial analysis of lost business income claims and employing loss control and mitigation strategies. The AVP will interact with the VP of claims and executive management on all significant claims, develop investigative plans and strategies, employ loss mitigation measures, and make reserving recommendations. The successful candidate must demonstrate a record of executing resolution plans consistently within authority through negotiation.
Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university with emphasis in Business, Insurance, or a related field. An accounting background or advanced insurance certification is preferred.
