Avionics Software Verification Engineer - Diverse Lynx : Job Details

Job Title: Avionics Software Verification Engineer Location: Hauppauge, NY (Onsite- 100%) Type: 6+ month contract Skills: DO178-B/C, RTRT, LDRA, Vector cast, ADA95Role Description:

• Good understanding on various testing methodologies (Block Box, White Box, Low level Testing, Software Integration Testing, Hardware Software Integration Testing).
• Good understanding of Low/High level requirements to Perform Verifiability review on the Design/Develop/Execute/Review tests as per Project defined Process.
• Strong problem solving skills in testing life cycle.
• Ability to think ahead and anticipate problems, issues and solutions.
• Good knowledge of Project quality standards, legislation and best practice Like PSAC, STS, SVR, SVP, SQMP, SCM.
• Quality and Budget of deliverables to be maintained as per Project defined standards Should be focus on Zero-Defect and First time right.
• Supporting the Lead in formal SOI audits.
• Supporting Team Lead/Project Lead in project management activities

Essential Skills:

• Testing Concepts as per DO178-B/C.
• Hands on verification tool experience (e.g., RTRT, LDRA, Vector cast,).
• Knowledge on or C Language, ADA95, C++ Knowledge on Requirement Based testing

Desirable Skills:

• Basic Avionics domain Knowledge, Knowledge on V-Model, Knowledge on Any of the configuration/Change Management tool and concepts, Working Experience on Avionics Communication Protocols.
• Knowledge on Flight control systems, Landing Gear Systems, Fuel systems.
• Excellent communication skills, Problem Solving and troubleshooting.
• Good involvement in DO178B/C guideline process
