Position Summary: The General Aviation Services Coordinator is responsible for the performance of general aviation tenant services, and the maintenance and repair of facilities and grounds at the west general aviation campus - WestLEX. This position performs a variety of tasks necessary to ensure outstanding customer service to our general aviation community, efficient operability of facilities and equipment, and assures the safety and compliance of grounds. The position will also provide safe ground coordination of arriving and departing aircraft, including but not limited to, oversight of customer boarding and deplaning, baggage handling, and aircraft servicing. A strong candidate will have a demonstrated interest in the aviation industry and possess the ability to cultivate and maintain positive relationships, learn quickly, and carry out tasks in accordance with regulations. This position is a perfect opportunity for the aspirating aviation professional or long-time aficionado. The part-time schedule allows flexibility to manage other responsibilities or activities while still gaining knowledge and hands-on experience in the fields of airport operations, airport compliance, and tenant services. New employees begin at an hourly rate of $15.00 plus Paid Time Off (PTO). Specific shifts to be agreed on with the General Aviation Services Manager. Schedule adjustments subject to airline, team, and seasonal needs.
