Responsibilities for an Education Supervisor

• Supervise automotive faculty and monitor shop operations to ensure industry-standard practices

• Recruit, select, orient, and train faculty with relevant automotive service experience

• Develop staff professional growth opportunities that align with current industry trends and technologies

• Manage faculty schedules and monitor absenteeism to maintain consistent shop operations

• Provide excellent student service focused on real-world automotive skills and career readiness

• Maintain inventory of automotive equipment, diagnostic tools, parts, and training materials to reflect current industry standards

Requirements for an Education Supervisor

• Associate degree in Automotive Technology or equivalent automotive service industry experience

• 3+ years of hands-on automotive service experience in dealership, independent shop, or fleet maintenance environment

• Knowledge of current automotive diagnostic equipment, repair procedures, and industry best practices

• Experience with automotive parts inventory management and vendor relationships

• ASE certifications preferred

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and automotive management software

• 2+ years of teaching or training experience in automotive field, preferred

• 1+ year(s) of automotive shop management or supervisory experience, preferred
