Perry Ford/Lincoln San Luis Obispo is looking for experienced, energetic, hard-working techs to join our team. We have a busy shop with our growing service department. We are looking for hard-working, highly motivated technicians to join our winning organization.

Skills

• Mechanical experience
• Diagnosis
• Electrical proficiency
• Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order in accordance with dealership policies
• Evaluate vehicle for additional work needed beyond initial or stated concern
• Work with efficiency and accuracy - fix it right the first time
• Test drive vehicles, and test components and systems to verify repair completed properly
• Communicate findings and recommendations for service to Advisor
• Provide estimates of time needed for additional repairs
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications

Service Technician Requirements

• Ford certification a plus
• 3 years auto tech experience preferred
• Eager learner and team player
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
• Clean driving record & valid driver's license
