Whaling City Mazda has an immediate need for a qualified Import Technician to join our growing Service Department. If you have experience working for Toyota, Hyundai, Lexus, Nissan, Subaru, BMW, or in aftermarket services, we want to talk to you. We offer a pay plan up to $140,000 a year for the right individual, in a brand new, state-of-the-art, air-conditioned facility.

We are looking for a Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive service. Daily duties include performing repairs on specific vehicles and diagnosing necessary repairs.

• Perform work specified on repair orders efficiently and according to dealership standards.
• Test-drive vehicles and components, using diagnostic tools and special equipment.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning.
• Communicate with the Service Advisor regarding additional services needed and provide repair estimates.
• Execute warranty repairs according to manufacturer specifications.

• At least 2 years of Service Technician experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Qualifications in diagnostics, electrical systems, and engine repair.
• Steady hand, excellent hand-eye coordination.
• Mechanical troubleshooting skills and ability to operate diagnostic equipment.
• Excellent customer service skills and basic computer skills.
• Positive attitude and eagerness to learn.
• Ability to work in a dynamic environment and collaborate with team members.
• Ability to learn new technology, procedures, and specifications.
• Valid driver's license with a clean record.
