**Job Description**

The Cashier is responsible for receiving/processing payments for services rendered, explaining the work performed, assisting with answering the phones, booking appointments, conducting follow-up calls, and answering client inquiries in a timely, effective manner.

**Responsibilities**

* Ensures excellent service standards and maintains high customer satisfaction

* Answers incoming calls to the Service department and schedules appointments or directs caller when necessary

* Files/retrieves repair orders

* Takes detailed, accurate messages

* Closes out repair orders accordingly after payment is processed

* Completes daily deposit

* Sets and confirms appointments for Service department

* Greets customers with a friendly, professional attitude, answering any questions and/or directing them to the appropriate person or location

* Schedules service for customers either in person or on the phone

* Verifies customer appointments and all relevant customer information (name, phone number, VIN, mileage, etc.)

* Receives/processes payments for products and services and closes repair orders

* Prepares deposits and maintains a cash management system

* Performs other duties as assigned

**Qualifications**

* High school diploma or GED preferred

* Customer service experience preferred

* Reynolds and Reynolds experience preferred

* Must be dependable and follow assigned work schedule

* Must be able to address and answer customer requests via phone and e-mail

* Strong organizational skills and the ability to effectively multi-task

* Basic knowledge of computers

* Bi-lingual Spanish communication skills a plus

* Must pass a drug test and a background check

* Excellent communication, customer service, and problem solving skills, including the ability to maintain composure under stress

* Excellent telephone skills

* Cash handling experience
