Job Title: Automation Engineer

Location: Jersey City, NJ

Duration: Long-Term Contract

We are seeking an experienced Automation Engineer with a strong background in software testing and automation to join our team in Jersey City, NJ. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in UI automation, web service testing, performance testing, and cloud environments.

• Minimum of 9 years of experience in the software development industry, working in a team environment.
• At least 3 years of experience with UI automation tools such as Selenium WebDriver.
• At least 3 years of experience testing web services, including RESTful APIs.
• At least 3 years of experience in performance testing using tools like Apache JMeter.
• 2+ years of experience working in cloud-based environments such as AWS.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and Java/C#.
• Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Experience working within a Continuous Integration environment.
• Responsible for creating comprehensive test plans, specifications, and test case templates.
• Develop, document, and execute automated test scripts; analyze and report results.
• Manage defect tracking and test reporting processes.
• Review functional specifications, user stories, and change requests to develop test cases.
• Identify test data, prepare test cases for automation, and participate in system, regression testing, and client UAT.
• Prioritize and manage defect resolution processes.
• Strong test case design skills and knowledge of test design techniques.
• Python experience is mandatory.
