Job Summary

As an Automation Engineer in the Electric Power Division, you'll design and develop software for generator control switchgear systems, working independently and collaboratively to bring projects to life. If you're passionate about automation and impact, this is your role.

Responsibilities

• Identify retrofit opportunities, scope projects, support proposals
• Perform technical risk management
• Convert legacy PLC projects and validate
• Design, test, and commission low/medium voltage switchgear controls
• Guide CAD designers on wiring and assembly drawings
• Modify PLC and HMI programs for projects
• Support sales and customer service teams
• Prepare reports and assist technicians as needed

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• Minimum 2 years' experience or equivalent
• Valid driver's license

Additional Information

• Remote position based in the U.S.
• Company vehicle, phone allowance, paid overtime
• Travel 35-50%
