Job Summary:

We are seeking a passionate and driven Automation Engineer to join our automotive manufacturing team. This is a great opportunity for recent graduates or early-career professionals to gain hands-on experience in automation systems, robotics, and process improvement within a fast-paced automotive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the design, installation, and programming of automation systems (e.g., PLCs, HMIs, robots).
• Support senior engineers with troubleshooting and maintenance of existing automated equipment.
• Participate in system testing, validation, and documentation for new installations and upgrades.
• Work with cross-functional teams (production, maintenance, quality) to support manufacturing objectives.
• Monitor system performance and gather data to identify improvement opportunities.
• Maintain accurate documentation including wiring diagrams, schematics, and operation manuals.
• Follow safety and compliance standards (e.g., OSHA, IATF 16949).

Qualifications:

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field.
• Recent graduates or candidates with up to 2 years of relevant internship or full-time experience.

Technical Skills:

• Basic knowledge of PLC programming (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens).
• Familiarity with robotics, automation sensors, and industrial control systems.
• Understanding of electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
• Exposure to CAD tools (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) is a plus.

Preferred:

• Internship or co-op experience in a manufacturing or automotive plant.
• Coursework or project experience in automation, robotics, or control systems.
• Basic understanding of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles.
