Automation & Controls Engineer, Manufacturing - Pentair : Job Details

Lead automation initiatives by designing, developing, and integrating computer-controlled electronic and mechanical systems for manufacturing, processing, and production equipment. Support new product and process development by applying advanced control systems and electro-mechanical design concepts. Assist with assembly, testing, validation, and documentation of new equipment and products. Own and manage automation projects from concept through execution, including developing project plans with resources, timelines, and budgets. Ensure projects align with the sites long-term automation and technology roadmap. Design, program, and troubleshoot PLCs, HM - Is, and robotic systems (e.g., Fanuc) to improve equipment performance and reliability. Analyze and optimize production workflows for efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness using lean tools and data-driven decision-making.
