Automation and Controls Engineer - EnPro Industries : Job Details

As an Automation and Controls Engineer you will lead the way by helping Garlock navigate its Industry 5.0 phase by installing, troubleshooting, and improving current control systems for manufacturing equipment within existing industrial environments. Duties will include working individually and working with other team members. The Automation and Controls Engineer works on the development, maintenance, documentation, and troubleshooting of PLC, HMI, SCADA and PC systems used for electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic controls. This role will also lead the effort to modernize manufacturing and material handling processes through robotics and scalable automation systems. GENERAL FUNCTIONS: Uses an in-depth knowledge of control systems to diagnose controls problems and implement irreversible corrective actions to eliminate the problems found.
