Rich Ford needs to hire an experienced Automatic Transmission Specialist / Technician / Mechanic that has a primary role to rebuild and replace automatic transmissions. The ideal candidate must have a strong understanding of tearing down and rebuilding of automatic transmissions.Rich Ford is in the top 50 dealerships in the nation, and the go-to spot for new vehicles, great service, and more in the Albuquerque area. Responsibilities - Transmission Specialist / Technician / Mechanic:

• Inspect vehicle engines and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues accurately.
• Must have a complete understanding of removing, replacing, and rebuilding transmissions.
• Inspect vehicle computers and electronic systems to repair, maintain, and upgrade.
• Conduct routine maintenance on vehicles.
• Schedule future maintenance sessions and advise customers on accurate vehicle use.
• Maintain equipment and tools in good condition.
• Document work performed.
• Road-test vehicles when required or refer to the test technician.

Qualifications/Requirements Transmission Specialist / Technician / Mechanic:

• Automotive repair experience required
• No Ford training required
• Must be versatile in skills and tasks performed
• Must understand the process of removing, replacing, and rebuilding transmissions.
• Must be analytical with good problem-solving skills
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• High school diploma or GED
