Responsibilities Automotive Sales Consultant:

  • Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner, helping them navigate the vehicle buying process
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the dealership's new and pre-owned vehicle inventory, features, and pricing
  • Understand and assess customer needs to recommend appropriate vehicles and financing options
  • Conduct vehicle presentations and test drives to demonstrate features and performance
  • Follow up with prospective and existing customers via phone, email, and text to build relationships and generate repeat business
  • Collaborate with the sales and finance team to ensure a smooth, transparent purchase process
  • Stay current on product updates, promotions, and manufacturer incentives
  • Meet and exceed individual and team sales goals
  • Assist with vehicle delivery and ensure customer satisfaction post-sale
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions using CRM tools

Requirements/Qualifications Automotive Sales Consultant:

  • Previous automotive sales experience required
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first attitude
  • Ability to stick to established processes, complete daily tasks assigned in the form of calls, texts, emails, etc.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • Good computer skills and comfort using CRM systems, dealership management software, and GM training tools
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to effectively manage time and follow up with leads consistently
  • Valid drivers license with a clean driving record
  • Virginia Automotive Sales License (Preferred)
