Job DescriptionThe Auditor plays a key role in supporting the Internal Audit department by assisting with risk assessments, audit planning, and the development of audit programs to perform domestic operational audits throughout the year. They conduct operational, financial, and compliance audits, which involve creating audit plans and interviewing relevant stakeholders. Responsibilities include mapping business processes through narratives or flowcharts and identifying internal control weaknesses through control design analysis. The Auditor prepares detailed reports highlighting process and control issues, outlining related business risks, and proposing actionable recommendations for improvement. They collaborate with stakeholders to validate audit results and develop remediation plans to address identified risks. Ongoing responsibilities include tracking the progress of corrective actions from previous audits to ensure risks are properly managed. The role also supports the external audit process by performing required procedures during the annual financial audit while handling multiple high-risk assignments.
