Base pay range

$34.97/hr - $58.28/hr

Title: Auditor IILocation: Northeast Region (Onsite)Employment Type: ContractCompensationPay Range:$34.97-$58.28/HrsDescription

• Support the Credit Risk Review team in identifying loans with potential credit weaknesses.
• Validate and adjust credit risk ratings as necessary.
• Assess adherence to internal credit policies and compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
• Conduct reviews across various portfolios including Corporate Banking, Project Finance, and Leveraged Finance.
• Communicate findings and recommendations to all levels of management, including senior management.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in credit and counterparty risk reviews to identify weaknesses in the credit approval and monitoring process.
• Acquire a solid understanding of reviewed activities and specific industry risks.
• Assess governance, management, and controls of credit risk.
• Perform in-depth reviews of individual credits to validate risk ratings and recommend changes.
• Ensure documentation and communication of work to stakeholders are organized and within prescribed frameworks.
• Evaluate compliance with regulatory guidelines and bank policies.
• Identify actual and potential problem exposures and evaluate provisions for impaired credits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 5 to 10 years of experience in financial services related to credit extension, underwriting, review, or analysis.
• Strong credit analysis skills and understanding of the credit process and control.
• Proficiency in generic spreadsheet and presentation software.
• Strong writing, verbal, and interpersonal skills with the ability to discuss findings with management.
