Blazer Jobs is actively seeking a dedicated Educational Audiologist for a full-time, school-based contract role based in Virginia Beach, VA, with additional travel opportunities throughout Virginia for the 2025–2026 school year. What We Offer

For Local Professionals (Virginia Beach area):

  • Hourly rate: $70–$80, depending on experience.
  • Guaranteed full-time hours.
  • Full benefits including medical, dental, and vision.

For Travel Professionals (Across Virginia):

  • Weekly gross: $2,700–$3,000.
  • Hourly equivalent: $67–$76/hour.

Responsibilities

  • Provide hearing assessments, screenings, and evaluations.
  • Collaborate with IEP teams to support student needs.
  • Fit and manage hearing aids and assistive listening devices.
  • Train staff on classroom amplification systems and hearing care.
  • Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with state/federal guidelines.
  • Serve as a vital member of a student's educational support team.

Qualifications

  • Master's or Doctoral degree in Audiology.
  • Valid Virginia state license in Audiology.
  • School-based or pediatric experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Open to both local and travel-based assignments.
