POSITION OVERVIEWThe Audio/Visual Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of audio/visual operations and services. This position will be responsible for managing technicians and engineers to ensure seamless execution of audiovisual requirements for events, conferences, and entertainment performances. This position is also responsible for implementing audio/visual technology, equipment management, and event production which will play a vital role in enhancing the overall guest experience and maintaining our high standards of quality and excellence.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESThe following and other duties may be assigned as necessary:Design and implement new project AV systems for propertyLead, guide, and provide training to a team of engineers, technicians, and tech services supportCoordinate staff schedules, assignments, and training to ensure efficient operation of AV servicesResponsible for the supervision and performance of all technical aspects of AV systems, property, hotel rooms, luxury suites AV and control systemsSchedule and supervise technical personnel and equipment needed for property activitiesServe as technical liaison for exhibitions or groups utilizing the resort event servicesEnsure the availability, functionality, and proper maintenance of AV equipment and systemsWork closely with event planners, conference organizers, and entertainment personnel to understand their AV needsAssist clients in selecting appropriate AV solutions based on their requirements and budgetCoordinate and supervise the setup, operation, and dismantling of AV equipment during eventsOversee and maintain the operation and maintenance of all AV equipmentDevelop and manage the audiovisual department's budget, ensuring cost-effective practices without compromising qualityAdhere to all safety guidelines and ensure the audiovisual team follows appropriate safety protocolsMaintain inventory of audiovisual equipment, track usage, and manage repair or replacement processesStay updated with the latest AV technologies, trends, and industry best practicesTemporary or permanent duties and responsibilities may be added to or modified as deemed necessaryQUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTSTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
