Audio Engineer, MSNBC - NBCUniversal Media, LLC : Job Details

We are looking for an audio engineers to join our MSNBC Audio Unit. These roles will work across the unit to support multiple projects, to ensure high technical standards by mixing tape for audio platforms and fine tuning our video podcasts. The engineers will report to the Senior Production Manager and collaborate with the producers to ensure podcasts are beautifully mastered and delivered to spec. The engineers should understand and have an interest in news and politics, as well as journalism best practices. Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Technical setup ahead of interviews & support during recordings. Ingest video & audio for podcast edits. Mix audio episodes. Work on high-level video podcast episodes. Weigh in on technical setup on remote recordings. Collaborate with TV crews on cross-platform shoots. Collaborate with event venues on live recordings.
