Our Client

This client is a well-respected mid-size litigation firm that is looking to expand its Workers' Compensation Defense team and they are seeking a talented Associate Attorney to join their practice. The position begins in-office and transitions to hybrid after an initial period and you must be commutable to downtown Atlanta, GA. This is a full-time, direct-hire role with a great opportunity for growth within the organization.

Are you a motivated litigator looking for hands-on experience, mentorship, and career growth? In this role, you'll take an active lead in defending employers and insurers in workers' compensation claims —conducting depositions, managing discovery, and representing clients at hearings. We're looking for a detail-oriented attorney with strong analytical skills, excellent writing and advocacy abilities, and a passion for workers' compensation litigation. What To Expect as a Workers' Compensation Defense Attorney

  • Manage a caseload of workers' compensation defense claims from inception to resolution
  • Represent employers and insurers in hearings, depositions, and mediations
  • Oversee discovery and draft legal documents, including motions and settlement agreements
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies and assess risk
  • Gain hands-on litigation experience with direct client interaction and courtroom exposure

    • Qualifications For Success

  • J.D from ABA-approved law school
  • Active license to practice law in the state of Georgia
  • Minimum 1 year litigation defense experience, preferably in workers' compensation
  • Proven ability to manage complex cases
  • Strong ability to conduct depositions and manage discovery
  • Outstanding analytical skills

    • Salary Range: $100,000 - $150,000
