• Advocate for clients in court hearings, trials, and settlement negotiations.
• Perform thorough legal research and analysis to build strong case support.
• Draft, review, and revise legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and contracts.
• Maintain clear and professional communication with clients, opposing counsel, and stakeholders.
• Stay current with legal developments, case law, and procedural changes.
• Efficiently manage caseloads, ensuring all deadlines and court requirements are met.
• Contribute to the formulation and execution of sound legal strategies.
• Represent the firm in legal associations, bar committees, and professional events.

• A Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• An active license to practice law in Virginia.
• 3+ years of litigation experience, specifically within family law, divorce, or trust and estates.
• Exceptional oral advocacy and legal writing skills that command attention in court and in complex legal drafting.
• Superior organizational abilities to effortlessly juggle multiple deadlines and priorities inherent in a busy practice.
• An empathetic, solution-oriented approach coupled with an unwavering commitment to client success during often emotionally charged situations.
