Attendance Clerk - Idaho Falls School District 91 : Job Details

Works with staff, administrators, students and parents to ensure student attendance is recorded and reported accurately. Gathers information from various sources, including parents, healthcare providers, teachers, students, and the student information system, and organizes this information to help administrators make decisions about students and their education. Enters and updates data in the student information system as needed including attendance and changes to student information. Creates and maintains a filing system as needed for parent and healthcare provider notes and other required student information. Notifies administrators of students with unexcused absences, truancies, or excessive absences. Follows up with teachers when appropriate. Welcomes visitors graciously and assists them as needed. Places and receives telephone calls cordially and accurately records messages. Delivers messages to staff members as requested. Updates the automated call handler as needed.
