Athletic Trainer - Aventure Staffing Professional Placement : Job Details

Athletic Trainer $25-30/hour DOE Full-time If you have a passion for helping others and enjoy variety, we are seeking a highly motivated fitness enthusiast to work with local schools in Northeast Nebraska as an Athletic Trainer. You will provide services including prevention, diagnosis, emergency care, first aid, treatment, and rehabilitation of athletic injuries and chronic medical conditions involving impairment, functional limitations, and disabilities to patients and clients of all ages. Responsibilities: Schedule and coordinate coverage of training rooms, scheduled athletic team practices, home and away competitions, and events and/or tournaments hosted by contracted schools. Complete pre-competition/practice interventions. Perform initial injury or illness assessment. Develop and implement a plan of care. Assess and communicate athlete's condition, progress, and playing status to athlete, coaches, parents, physicians, or appropriate health care provider.
