The Strength Trainer plans, evaluates, and implements the strength training and conditioning programs for intercollegiate athletics, team and club sports, and the University community; develops and enforces safety policies for training environments; selects and monitors athletic equipment; serves as an educational resource for classes, camps and clinics; assists in the recruitment of prospective student-athletes; acquires and maintains relevant professional certifications; follows NCAA and conference policies.
Minimum Education, Work Experience & Required Certifications: Bachelor's Degree 3+ years of relevant experience Required Certifications: Strength and Conditioning Coach Certification - Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coaches Association; National Strength and Conditioning Association
Background Checks/Clearances: This position requires the following clearances: PA State Police Criminal Background Check, PA Child Abuse History Clearance Form, and Federal (FBI) Fingerprint Criminal Background Check. This position requires that you operate a motor vehicle as a part of your job duties. A valid driver's license and successful completion of a motor vehicle records check will be required in addition to standard background checks.
Salary & Benefits: The salary range for this position, including all possible grades, is $56,200.00 - $81,500.00.
