About the Role

The Company is seeking an Associate Vice President of Claims Compliance to take on a broad and pivotal role in the management of the claims compliance function within the Insurance Compliance Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for the development, direction, and oversight of all claims-related compliance activities, including regulatory change management, audits, reporting, data calls, penalty payments, research, and consumer complaints. This upper-level management position requires a proactive approach to identifying and addressing compliance and business issues, as well as the establishment and communication of policies and procedures. The role also involves leading, training, and mentoring a team, and actively seeking opportunities for process improvement and change. Applicants for this position at the company should have a minimum of 10 years' experience in directly managing or handling P&C insurance claims, with a preference for those who have a minimum of 3 years' experience in state and federal claims compliance. A strong background in supervisory experience, organizational and analytical skills, and excellent communication abilities are essential. The role demands a candidate who is proficient in Excel, Word, and Outlook, and a Bachelor's degree is required, with a Master's degree being preferred.
