Your qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • At least 2 years of experience in healthcare, especially in appeals, claims, or case management
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and case tracking systems
  • Knowledge of Medicaid, Medicare, or Commercial health plan regulations
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and clinical documentation
  • A knack for innovation and a commitment to team collaboration
  • A strong dedication to making a positive difference for our customers in every interaction

Your key responsibilities:

  • Receive, review and log all incoming member and provider complaints and appeals (both standard and expedited)
  • Conduct initial case screening for completeness and timeliness
  • Assign cases to the appropriate clinical and non-clinical staff based on type and urgency
  • Monitor and manage system queues to ensure compliance with regulatory timeframes
  • Perform additional responsibilities as needed by leadership
  • Contribute to our pursuit of excellence by engaging in responsibilities that reflect our collective goal of enhancing healthcare delivery.
