ASSOCIATE TRAFFIC ENGINEER - City of Riverside, CA : Job Details

The City of Riverside is accepting applications for the position of Associate Traffic Engineer to fill one (1) vacancy in the Traffic Engineering Division of the Public Works Department. The eligibility list established may be used to fill the current and/or upcoming vacancies within this classification for up to six (6) months. The ideal candidate will provide traffic engineering services for the design and implementation of traffic signal timing operation improvement projects including day-to-day signal timing deployment, management of the Traffic Management Center (TMC), signal synchronization projects, signal turn-on support, compliance to industry standards, supporting the Traffic Signal Shop and perform field work as necessary. Additionally, the selected individual will work on preparation of traffic signal design plans, improved signal timings plans, prepare annual signal timing reports, and assist with maintenance of traffic signals and appurtenances.
