Our client is hiring multiple Associate-level Therapists to support their programs throughout Sacramento. If you're a licensed associate in the state of CA (ACSW, APCC, or AMFT) and passionate about working with clients w/ severe mental illness, we'd love to speak to you. As an Associate Therapist with one of our programs, you'll be part of a company that prioritizes employee well-being while providing essential mental health support services to adults struggling with schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, schizo-affective disorder, and other SMIs. You'll do day-to-day work in groups and individually with clients struggling with mental illness and seeking help. Most clients are low-income and facing housing or employment insecurity as a result of their SMI. You'll be working both in our clinics and in the field --meeting clients in their homes, workplaces, etc. What You'll Do:
- Provide group and individual counseling under the supervision of the clinical or program director.
- Communicate with and/or meet frequently with the client's family or care provider with client's consent.
- Develop individualized care and progress plans for each client.
- Support and assist clients and their families in accessing mental health and medical care, as well as other essential needs like food, housing, clothes etc.
- Assist Clinical Director in various aspects of clinical program development, including monitoring KETs.
- Conduct routine Internal Utilization Reviews as directed by the Clinical Director; ensure timely submission of Special Incident Reports and Mandated Reports.
- Ensure the safety, health, and well-being of clients at all times.
- Visit clients in home periodically to offer guidance and support.
- Complete paperwork promptly and efficiently.
Requirements:
- Masters or higher in Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, or Marriage and Family Therapy.
- ACSW/APCC/AMFT licensure in CA required.
- Able to work a standard, Monday-Friday 8:30am-5pm schedule.
- Reliable transportation, valid CA driver's license, and clean driving record.
- Able and willing to work onsite full-time (no remote work).
