About the Role
Our client, a global medical device manufacturer is seeking a highly motivated Associate Sourcing Manager to join their growing Strategic Sourcing team. In this role, you will support the development and execution of sourcing strategies across key commodities, ensuring high performance in cost, quality, risk management, and supplier partnerships.

Key Responsibilities
- Support strategy development for assigned commodities in alignment with overall business goals.
- Lead cross-functional teams in building strategic commodity plans, supplier consolidation strategies, and total cost assessments.
- Participate in supplier sourcing, selection, contract development, and negotiation.
- Monitor and enforce supplier agreements to ensure optimal terms and compliance.
- Analyze supply base risks and execute mitigation strategies.
- Stay informed on market conditions, commodity trends, and cost control opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to establish supplier scorecards and lead performance reviews.
- Track and report on supplier performance, cost savings, and process improvements.
Preferred Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience in supply management, strategic sourcing, or supplier development.
- Strong knowledge of contract negotiation, administration, and supplier risk management.
- Experience with international sourcing and managing suppliers in a highly regulated industry.
- Familiarity with quality system standards (e.g., ISO13485, FDA QSR, ISO9001).
- Demonstrated success in cost reduction initiatives, continuous improvement, and supplier performance tracking.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and influencing skills across internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and basic project management tools.
Education & Certifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Finance, or related field required.
- Master's degree preferred.
- Professional certifications (APICS, ISM, or CSCMP) a plus.
