Description

The Investment Management team at Lido Advisors, LLC handles various cross-functional domains including portfolio management, risk assessment, market research, and trading. Over time, the scope of responsibilities within the team has grown significantly, leading to the development of proprietary technology and applications to support the firm's rapid growth. As a Software Developer, you will primarily support existing applications and assist in developing new technologies using in-house and third-party tools and software.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with colleagues to define requirements and project scope.
  • Design and architect investment applications and technical solutions for business problems.
  • Advise on the development and implementation of software across Lido, including both externally sourced and internally developed technology.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure timely project completion.
  • Implement project plans and address unforeseen issues.
  • Develop full-stack applications, including backend data management, business logic, and frontend interfaces.
  • Write clear, reusable, and well-structured code.
  • Build data ETL pipelines and assist with data management and third-party software integration.
  • Establish processes and best practices to optimize development efficiency.
  • Stay updated on new technologies and recommend improvements to Lido's tech stack.
  • Communicate technical concepts effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
  • At least 1 year of professional Python coding experience.
  • Ability to solve problems and work independently.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Python; experience with C++, C#, or Java is a plus.
  • Experience with data handling; SQL knowledge is a plus.
  • Familiarity with SDLC frameworks like Scrum and Agile.
  • Experience with project management tools (Jira) and version control systems (Git).
Preferred Qualifications and Skills
  • Advanced degree in a technical field.
  • Experience with financial options and hedging strategies.
  • Knowledge of AI and Machine Learning, with hands-on experience.
  • Experience with ML Operations.
  • Strong data analysis skills and understanding of data structures.
  • Understanding of financial concepts like asset classes and trading.
  • Ability to manage complex data and databases.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).

Salary: $80,000 - $110,000
