Overview:

Associate Software Automation Engineer works with Product Development and Product Management to review requirements and system documentation to design efficient and cohesive test plans and test cases; leads peer reviews of test plans and test cases; independently determines and designs testing approaches that support comprehensive testing of difficult solutions; mentors and cross trains others on testing approaches; executes test cases; analyzes testing results, identifies and reports root causes for test failures; makes recommendations to improve product reliability, customer experience, performance, and quality assurance best practices & processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the development team to review project requirements and assist in designing a test automation strategy.
  • Support the creation and maintenance of automated scripts working under the supervision of experienced engineers.
  • Contribute in improving our automation framework and methodology.
  • Help in identifying, documenting, and managing defects.
Qualifications:
  • Current or finished education in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Strong interest in software development, testing and automation.
  • Good understanding of any programming languages (Java, C#, Python).
  • Good problem-solving and investigation skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with a team.
  • Ready to learn, ready to grow and expand own technical skills set.
