Base pay range

$80,000.00/yr - $130,000.00/yr

  • Design and execute experiments to optimize antibody binding affinity, specificity, and stability.
  • Design and lead execution of experiments involving antibody libraries, antibody engineering, and antigen characterization.
  • Develop novel antibody formats and platforms to enhance therapeutic efficacy and pharmacokinetic properties.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional project teams to develop and implement strategies for antibody discovery and optimization.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements and techniques in display technology and apply them to improve the antibody discovery process.
  • Independently analyze scientific results, troubleshoot methods, and conceive creative solutions and workflows to address challenges.
  • Mentor and provide scientific guidance to junior scientists and research associates within the antibody engineering team.
  • Contribute to intellectual property generation through patent writing.
  • Requirements: Ph.D. in molecular biology, biochemistry, genetics, or chemical biology.
  • Expertise in antibody discovery platforms, including phage/yeast display, hybridoma, and high-throughput screening methodologies.
  • Proficiency in protein engineering techniques such as antibody humanization, affinity maturation, and format optimization.
  • Demonstrated track record of leading antibody engineering projects from conception to successful outcomes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and draw actionable conclusions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
  • Prior experience in supervising and mentoring junior scientists is preferred. A publication record demonstrating contributions to the field is highly desirable.
