Job Title: Associate Scientist Location: Bothell, WA Compensation: $20.49- $22.29 Type: Contract Overview Leading pharmaceutical company looking for an entry level Associate Scientist. Ideal candidates should have a bachelors degree with 0-2 years of experience and the ability to work in a cold environment. Responsibilities Regular maintenance and auditing of robust inventories Performing inventory recalling activities for request fulfilment including sample preparation including aliquoting, sample checks (i.e UV-Vis) Timely material recording and facilitation with Shipping and Receiving documentation Managing large reagent inventories with Freezerworks software. Evaluating and building new lab efficiencies towards sample management and logistic processes Regular collaboration with team members and strong communication skills Requirements Hands-on laboratory experience (excluding college coursework). Protein and/or antibody and small compound handling experience. Practical and general knowledge and experience in a laboratory setting. Experience with automated lab equipment and protocols is a plus. Experience working with protein liquid chromatography or spectroscopy instrumentation. Prior experience working with electronic lab notebooks and/or LIMS systems. Bachelor's degree in biochemistry, chemistry, or related field with 0-2 years relevant experience, or equivalent.
