Associate Researcher I- Pharmacological Sciences - Mount Sinai Health System : Job Details

We seek a talented and motivated Research Associate I to assist in conducting a new NIH-funded study at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai examining a new mechanism and therapy for comorbid health problems, including Alzheimers disease, metabolic dysregulation, and more, in mouse models of Down Syndrome. The Research Associate is an entry or mid-level researcher, responsible for conducting and assisting in rodent research studies under the supervision of Dr. Ki Goosens and her collaborators in the Center for Translational Medicine and Pharmacology at Mount Sinai. The individual will conduct studies in mice. Primary responsibilities will include running experiments, collecting and processing tissues and blood samples, and running ELIS - As and other assays to measure specific biomarkers.
