The Opportunity

Location: Temecula, CA - onsite

Abbott Vascular provides innovative, minimally invasive products for vascular disease treatment, including drug-eluting stents, guide wires, catheters, imaging systems, vessel closure devices, and peripheral stents.

Role: Quality Engineer

Support manufacturing and product development to ensure delivery of high-quality products.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure compliance with corporate and divisional policies.
  • Identify and control manufacturing process defects, participate in root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
  • Query and analyze data to support complex product release criteria.
  • Create product and quality specifications, plans, and systems.
  • Develop risk analyses and FMEAs.
  • Identify critical process steps and apply methods to reduce process variation and defects.
  • Lead process improvements and develop quality tools and training materials.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree with 0-2+ years of related experience or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree with 0-2 years of related experience or equivalent.
