Position Summary

BrandEd is seeking a highly organized and strategic Associate Project Manager, Operations to lead and support cross-functional initiatives at BrandEd. This role will be responsible for planning and executing complex projects that span departments and programs. The ideal candidate is a natural collaborator with strong communication skills and a proven ability to deliver results on time and within scope.

This person will be instrumental in managing business requirements and workflows to support the successful launch of student applications and program infrastructure at BrandEd. They will work closely with IT, admissions, marketing, program teams, finance, and legal. They will report to the Senior Technical Project Manager, Operations and Technology.

Key Responsibilities

  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to define objectives, milestones, deliverables, and key task force members for cross-functional projects.
  • Utilize industry best practices, tools, and standards to guide projects from concept through completion.
  • Apply project management knowledge and methodologies to deliverables, processes, and systems.
  • Manage project scope and forecasting to ensure company-wide initiatives stay on track and are aligned with BrandEd's strategic goals.
  • Plan, execute, and monitor projects using monday.com, maintaining up-to-date documentation and records throughout all project phases.
  • Lead regular core team meetings to address risks, issues, and progress, and escalate where appropriate.
  • Document and manage all project files and materials, ensuring accuracy and accessibility across teams.
  • Identify project risks and provide mitigation plans and solutions to stakeholders.
  • Recommend and implement process improvements to optimize workflows and enhance cross-departmental collaboration.
  • Prepare reports for management and executive teams as needed.
  • Support additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 3+ years of experience in project management, business operations, or a related role.
  • PMP certification is not required but must be a professional development goal.
  • Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline.
  • Strong experience using project management software and methodologies; experience with monday.com is a plus.
  • Experiencing managing technical projects in the education sector is .
  • Familiarity with Salesforce, Student Information Systems (SIS), and/or other Student data management platforms is a plus.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Strategic thinker and problem solver who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Resourceful, adaptable, and proactive.
  • Must be available to work on-site in New York City when requested.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
