AES Clean Energy is seeking an Associate Project Manager to support photovoltaic solar and energy storage construction projects in the U.S. Reporting to the Director of Project Management, the role involves:
- Supporting Preconstruction Project Managers with documentation, financials, reporting, scheduling, and contract management.
- Implementing project execution and document control processes.
- Managing construction documentation for tax equity and debt funding transactions.
- Developing construction project execution and funding processes.
- Creating project reports and supervising KPI tracking.
- Participating in meetings to coordinate funding and support project managers.
- Supporting procurement processes and document packages for RFPs.
- Managing contract document assembly and execution.
- Supporting EPC contractor deliverables and invoicing reviews.
- Managing vendor creation documentation.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
Key Requirements include:
- 1-4 years of related experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Construction, or related field.
- Experience supporting construction project management and documentation.
- Experience with renewable project tax equity and debt funding (preferred).
- Proficiency in MS Office, Quickbase, Box, Procore, P6, MS Teams.
- Experience in wind construction, electric industry, or power plants (preferred).
- Strong relationship-building, interpersonal, organizational, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
- Alignment with AES Values.
- PMI CAPM certification preferred but not required.
