Job Description

Assists in generating project budget estimates, updates during design phases, negotiates changes during construction, and compiles post-mortem cost summaries, with oversight from project controls/estimating leadership.

  • Develops estimates, negotiates, and settles costs for changes throughout the project.
  • Creates project metrics, reports, and summaries for leadership.
  • Supports estimating team during buyout, including RFP development, bid scoping, and cost negotiation.
  • Prepares overall project cost summaries and presentations for company leadership.
  • Identifies and reports project cost trends and risks.
  • Contributes to value engineering to mitigate cost overruns.
  • Follows Environmental, Health & Safety policies and procedures.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Qualifications
    • Associate's degree or technical school required; Bachelor's preferred.
    • 0-3+ years on-site construction and estimating experience on themed entertainment projects or equivalent education/experience.
    • Proficient in estimating software (On-Screen, BidScreenXL, Bluebeam, etc.).
    • Proficient in MS Office suite.
    • Knowledge of architectural/engineering, show/ride design, and construction industry practices.
    • Strong communication, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
    • Detail-oriented with ability to manage multiple activities.
    • Ability to work independently and influence teams.
    • Basic conflict resolution skills.
    • On-site work required full-time at designated NBCUniversal location.
    Additional Information

    This position offers benefits including health insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and discounts. Salary range: $70,000 - $100,000.
