Associate, Private Wealth Partnerships (Relationship Management) - Ares Management : Job Details

The Private Wealth Partnerships (PWP) team manages relationships with Ares Wealth Management Solutions' largest partner firms, including private banks, wirehouses, independent broker dealers, and fintech platforms. We are seeking an associate to serve as a relationship manager, supporting strategic engagement with our partner firms. This client-facing role involves coordinating fund onboarding, sales and marketing efforts, and ongoing partner servicing needs. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, proactive, and collaborative, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Support bank relationship management, including origination, onboarding, and ongoing servicing.
• Collaborate with PWP team members, investor relations, portfolio managers, and executive assistants to organize client meetings, prepare briefing memos, calendar invites, and presentation materials.
• Maintain meeting summary notes and key takeaways in Salesforce. Own follow-up requests.
• Support onboarding of new funds, including investment and operational due diligence, legal agreements, operational setup, marketing material approvals, sales training, and launch logistics.
• Maintain onboarding tracking files summarizing key workstreams and progress.
• Maintain ongoing relationship management tracking files to ensure prompt & timely completion of all partner requests.
• Participate in partner firm calls around product solutions & ongoing partner relationship management meetings.
• Collaborate with sales and marketing on partner firm updates & product launches.
• Act as a liaison between PWP & operations for administrative, transfer, finance, accounting, tax, and investor portal inquiries.
• Coordinate partner firm update calls, diligence requests, and firm-specific on-going product DDQ requests.
• Maintain key PWP templates: bi-weekly pipeline update, team meeting agenda, weekly action items, events tracker, etc.
• Ensure accurate data entry and reporting in Salesforce and Tableau.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Knowledge of wealth management distribution channels and alternative investments.
• Investment concepts and industry practices relevant to fund onboarding and relationship management.

• Skill in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Teams, Excel, PowerPoint).
• CRM systems (Salesforce) and data visualization tools (Tableau).
• Project management & cross-functional collaboration.

• Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Work independently while contributing to a team-oriented culture.
• Maintain attention to detail while supporting strategic objectives.

Educational/Previous Experience Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of two (2) years of experience at a broker/dealer or investment firm, with sales or relationship management experience.

Compensation:

$130,000 - $150,000
