Associate Office Assistant - Prudent Publishing : Job Details

Prudent Publishing Company, Inc., established in 1929 and a leading publisher of premium quality greeting cards known as The Gallery Collection®, has the following long term seasonal opportunity at our manufacturing facility in Landing, NJ as part of our Packing & Shipping Team. SALARY: $17/hour Job Purpose: Proofread customized customer imprints and work orders prior to sending to production. Excellent spelling and grammatical skills are essential. Responsibilities: • Follow established procedures for proofreading orders • Contribute to team effort by meeting or exceeding production goals • Adhere to safety procedures while handling materials • Perform other duties as assigned Skills/Qualifications: • No Experience Necessary - Paid Training • Manual dexterity, attention to detail, and good hand and eye coordination is a must • Excellent spelling and grammatical skills are essential • Ability to lift or move up to 40 pounds • Willingness to work overtime hours including weekends essential Shift Schedule: (June - September) Monday - Thursday | 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM (October - December) Monday - Friday | 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM Seasonal Employee Perks • Paid holidays and training • Complimentary box of assorted greeting cards • Potential for overtime pay (10-20+ hours for significantly increased earnings!) • Potential for year-round employment Note to Recruiters and Placement Agencies: Prudent Publishing Company does not accept unsolicited agency resumes.
