Join the UDRI team and apply now!UDRI seeks candidates experienced in experimental design and equipment to support nondestructive evaluation (NDE) at the University of Dayton, Dayton OH. The researcher will be supporting research in evaluating, performing, integrating and advancing NDE methods for aerospace applications. Research support includes execution and modification of experiments to inspect aerospace materials. Understanding the use, maintenance and management of the mechanical and electronic equipment needed to perform these inspections will also be required. Inspections will be performed in accordance with existing standards or to qualify new processes meeting those standards. NDE modalities of interest include ultrasonics, eddy current, fluorescent penetrant, magnetic particle, radiography and thermography.Minimum QualificationsR1 Minimum Qualifications:
