We are seeking an Associate Media Director to join a growing team within a progressive agency in NYC (hybrid - flexible days of your choice in the office). The Associate Media Director will be responsible for developing and executing media plans across various channels, with a focus on digital and emerging media. Key responsibilities include managing media budgets, collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve campaign goals, and guiding team members through the planning process, including strategy development, partner RFP/evaluation, negotiation, tactical plan development & execution, reporting & insights, optimization, and billing.

Requirements
  • 6+ years of experience in media planning and buying
  • Proven success in media planning and buying, especially in digital media
  • Ability to develop high-level strategies incorporating innovative ideas to meet objectives from awareness to lead generation
  • Excellent communication and project management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of industry trends and developments
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams, including creative and account management
  • Adept with digital tools such as Google Analytics, DoubleClick/DFA, MOAT/IAS, Google Data Studio, Prisma, Spectra
  • Proficiency in media planning tools and software like Comscore, Nielsen, IAS
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, or a related field
