Associate Media Director (hybrid)
We are seeking an Associate Media Director to join a growing team within a progressive agency in NYC (hybrid - flexible days of your choice in office). The Associate Media Director will be responsible for developing and executing media plans across various channels with a focus in digital and emerging media, managing media budgets, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve campaign goals. This role will play a key part in driving business growth and success for clients while managing a team, guiding these individuals through the fundamentals of the planning process (inclusive of developing high-level strategies, partner RFP/evaluation, negotiation, tactical plan development & execution, reporting & insights, optimization, billing, etc.)
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in media planning and buying
- Proven track record of success in media planning and buying, with a focus on digital media
- Ability to develop high-level strategies that include implementation of new, innovative ideas that deliver results according to objectives from awareness to lead gen
- Excellent communication and project management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong knowledge of industry trends and developments
- Experience working with cross-functional teams, including creative and account management
- Adept with digital tools including Google Analytics, DoubleClick/DFA, MOAT/IAS, Google Data Studio, Prisma, Spectra
- Proficiency in media planning tools and software (e.g. Comscore, Nielsen, IAS)
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, or related field
