The Role
Moody's Ratings' Global Banking franchise is an integral part of the Global Financial Institutions (FIG) ratings group, comprising about 90% of annual debt issuance by financial institutions, and roughly two-thirds of FIG revenues and operating income. The Banking group has a well-established presence in all major banking systems globally, and yet still sees franchise growth in various banking regions and in finance companies and securities firms globally, including in private-credit-related issuers. The Global Banking business includes over 100 analysts and staff.
This role will lead in a co-management structure with two other Associate Managing Directors in the North American banking team; with the team covering various key sectors including US-based global investment and universal banks, US regional banks, Canadian banks, securities firms, and finance companies. The role will be assigned primary oversight responsibility for one or more of these sectors, with the selected sector(s) being assigned based on the sectoral knowledge and expertise of the selected candidate.
This is a highly visible customer-facing role in a dynamic market. The position requires a proven business leader of high integrity, intellect and demonstrated credit judgment to manage the business to the highest professional standards and quality. Qualifications:
For US-based roles only: the anticipated hiring base salary range for this position is$231,400.00-$335,500.00, depending on factors such as experience, education, level, skills, and location. This range is based on a full-time position. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for incentive compensation. Moody's also offers a competitive benefits package, including not but limited to medical, dental, vision, parental leave, paid time off, a 401(k) plan with employee and company contribution opportunities, life, disability, and accident insurance, a discounted employee stock purchase plan, and tuition reimbursement.
