As the Associate Manager, Remarketing, youll need two scoops of collaboration and a bowl full of communication as you liaise between Kellogg distribution centers, plants, co-packers, internal departments, and our customers to implement the closeout sale and donation of aged/excess, damaged and other inventories.

This role will also support process & system maintenance along with reporting! When it comes to food and business, we do it best.

HERES A TASTE OF WHAT YOULL BE DOING

  • Subject Matter Expert With an owners mindset, youll serve as the single point of contact who manages processes, needed system maintenance, and reporting specific to the Remarketing business. Youll also learn about our closeout customers and warehouses and serve as back up support to your teammates who assume all communication between the customer and Kellogg departments. This includes processing inventory reports, selling to customers, processing offers, handling all customer service functions including order entry, and continuously working to build business and sales opportunities.   • Inventory Review and Accuracy with Analyses With an uncommonly good eye, youll review inventory on a weekly basis and reconcile discrepancies in products/quantities available before selling to closeout customers. Youll also perform a variety of complex analyses on pricing, sales, donations, inventory, and freight costs, and recommend pricing guidelines within an assigned KNA business. Additionally, youll work with Financial Exchange to resolve deductions, payments and ensure accurate input of orders.
  • Customer Collaboration - In this role youll identify customer needs and take ownership of streamlining their information. While youre at it, youll handle all aspects of selling products to closeout customers via our Remarketing website, and also coordinate donations from assigned warehouse locations. Youll interact with customer contacts from Buyer to Owner or CEO.

YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS

Required:

  • Significant experience in at least one of the following related fields: Logistics and Operations, Customer Service, Marketing, Sales, and IT
  • Fluency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, including the use of macros.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple and conflicting priorities under specific time constraints in an intense, challenge environment.
  • Bachelors Degree.
  • Advanced working knowledge of SAP.
