This is a part-time position in a busy Physical Therapy office, offering 20-30 hours per week. The office operates Monday through Friday, with some evening hours required.

Requirements: Knowledge of computers, Excel, and Microsoft Office is required. Knowledge of medical insurance is a plus but will be trained.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Answering phones
  • Greeting patients
  • Scheduling patients and updating the system
  • Retrieving messages via phone, text, and email, and following up as necessary
  • Processing patient copays (cash, check, credit card)
  • Taking patient intake for initial evaluation
  • Scheduling physical therapy evaluations
  • Verifying and documenting insurance information, and following up
  • Faxing documentation as needed
  • Communicating with patients via text or call for follow-up
