Business Unit: Human Capital Group
Scope: As an Associate HR Business Partner, you will support departmental groups in the Americas region, reporting to the Regional HR Business Partner, Americas. Your role involves strategic and operational support for departments including Corporate Finance, Financial and Valuation Advisory, Financial Restructuring, Financial Sponsors Coverage, and Corporate.
Responsibilities:
- Act as a point of contact for employee HR policy questions.
- Address employee concerns and escalate as necessary.
- Assist in drafting and supporting performance improvement plans.
- Manage employee separation and release agreements.
- Support investigations related to employee relations issues.
- Maintain employee records and HR databases.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies in local offices.
- Assist in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with HRBPs to align HR strategies with company goals.
- Support performance review cycles and ensure deadlines are met.
- Coordinate training programs and professional development initiatives.
- Understand departmental strategies to ensure HR practices are aligned.
- Deliver comprehensive HR services across the employee lifecycle, including recruiting, onboarding, development, retention, off-boarding, leaves, accommodations, compensation, performance management, mobility, and terminations.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree (or higher) or equivalent work experience.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Ability to understand business strategies and work collaboratively with business leaders and HR colleagues.
- Trusted advisor to senior management with coaching skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask.
- Independent problem-solving skills with results orientation.
- Good judgment, integrity, and confidentiality.
- Ability to analyze human capital data for business insights.

Preferred Qualifications:
- 3+ years of HR experience, including hiring, training, performance management, and terminations.
- Experience with corporate or professional services firms, such as investment banking, law, consulting, or accounting.
