Job Description :
Associate, Help Desk User Support w/ Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC in Draper, Utah. Develop expertise across global support and operations team including tools and technologies such as market data and software languages. Assist in the creation of testing processes, standards, solutions and tools to ensure smooth operation of the firm's businesses. Requires: Bachelor's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems/Technology, or relevant field such as Industrial Engineering and two (2) years of experience in job offered or related role OR Master's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems/Technology, or relevant field such as Industrial Engineering and one (1) year of experience in job offered or related role. Prior experience must include two (2) years with Bachelor's OR one (1) year with Master's with the following: answering support phone calls and support e-mails and maintaining confidentiality of sensitive client information; web application support and assisting users to clear cache and cookies in a commonly used web such as Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge/IE, or Apple Safari; mobile application support and assisting users in general mobile application installation and removal on common mobile devices such as Apple IOS, Google Android, or Microsoft Windows Mobile; performance tuning and troubleshooting application issues utilizing code debugging, log analysis, or find/follow/share documented steps to resolve; retrieving data from multiple sources and performing ETL (extract, transform, load) operations on data retrieved to achieve the desired report or output using Pivot Tables in Microsoft Excel or SQL and databases such as Microsoft Access or specialized ETL tools such as Alteryx or perform ETL in a programming language such as python; documenting a process by creating or updating standard operating procedures or training other members of the team on the process; working with application owners to provide automation opportunities, feedback or technical details of problem experienced by users or suggested improvements; and assisting application owners with the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) including requirements gathering, design, prioritization, testing, and support.
