Detailed Description:The Associate General Counsel provides a high level of professional legal service to the University of San Diego. The Associate General Counsel will advise University personnel on a wide array of legal issues arising in the context of higher education and will interact with members of the legal profession, outside agencies, and others as required to perform his or her job responsibilities. Areas of practice will include, but are not limited to, research compliance, contracts and transactional work, construction, real estate, student matters, employee matters, academic matters, intellectual property, athletics, risk management, and other areas as needed.
