Associate Engineer, Quality and Inspection - CHENIERE ENERGY : Job Details

The Associate Engineer, Inspection reports to the Engineering Superintendent, Inspection, and is the technical steward for fixed equipment, piping, heat exchangers, tanks, and mechanical systems and is accountable for supporting system maintenance and improving these systems including all associated documentation. The employee will provide leadership and discipline expertise to less experienced support staff, engineering design, maintenance, and production groups. This is a Non-DOT position. RESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL DUTIES Serves as the asset integrity administrator and prepare and implement pro-active inspection programs which are based on statutory requirements, industry code and Cheniere LNGs policies and guidelines. Asset integrity Knowledge of engineering issues (not limited to risk based inspection, system integrity, and applicability to specifications, philosophies and standards) and mentor the support groups (Plant Inspectors and Technicians).
